I’m currently a senior copywriter at Optum, leading marketing copywriting for a consumer-facing benefits app at the intersection of fintech and healthcare.

Before going full-time at Optum, I was a freelance copywriter for brands across a range of industries (wellness, travel, food, retail, finance, enterprise SaaS, etc.), as well as a freelance lifestyle journalist and essayist.

I’ve helped startups find their voice and established brands hone theirs with messaging pillars and voice and tone guidelines. I’ve written clear and actionable website copy, concise UX copy, and emails that are compelling as missives from corporate entities can be. And I’ve written longform content like blog posts and e-books, informed by my journalism experience with Travel + Leisure, GQ, The Guardian, VICE, and other publications.

Not work

I have a B.A. in Humanities from Yale University. I’m an avid runner, rock climber, cyclist, and backpacker, often traveling out west to the Rockies and way, way down south to Patagonia. I’ve driven my old Subaru to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. I’m a lifelong fan of Arsenal FC.
